RWA
was formed in 1991, taking as its aim "to promote
excellence in romantic fiction, to help writers become published
and establish careers in their writing field, and to provide
continuing support for writers within the romance publishing
industry."

to individuals who support and adhere to the purposes of RWA,
and who have attained the age of majority in the state in which
they reside.

Annual
membership fees are:

Those residing within Australia: $82.50
(Base
fee $75.00 plus
GST and postage)
2.
Those residing outside Australia: $99.00
(Base
fee $75 plus postage)
All
amounts are in Australian dollars.
