MAKE FACEBOOK YOUR FRIEND: SIX WAYS TO MAKE FACEBOOK WORK FOR YOU AS A WRITER,
WITHOUT MORTGAGING YOUR HOME.

Presenter: Sara Hood

This workshop outlines clear, practical, accountable marketing activities for writers of popular fiction. It’s not airy fairy theory, nor is it snake oil ‘sell more books tomorrow and be rich the day after’ nonsense. Sadly, building a marketing platform takes time and effort, but it doesn’t have to be a burden if you know how to do it the right way. So this OWL will do two things: help people to stop wasting their time puddling around being busy but not achieving much and relieve them of the burden of ‘doing marketing’.  Show more...

Testimonials

Bootcamp, Critique Register, Roadshow... without these I would still be beavering away in isolation writing mistargeted, hybrid, wrong-length manuscripts on flimsy paperstock with irredeemable heroes and overly complicated plots. I cannot imagine a single thing on the 'must have' list that RWAus does not supply to anyone who needs it.

Writer Judges Required

Want to judge for our contests? We’re looking for RWA members of any experience level, published or unpublished, to be writer judges for our contests. It’s a great way to learn about your own writing craft, as well as help others. You’ll be judging entries in digital format and returning scoresheets via email. If you’d like to judge, please contact the Writer Judge Coordinator, Margaret Midwood, on judge-coordinator@romanceaustralia.com

Volunteers needed!

RWA is an organisation entirely run by volunteers. If you'd like to help in some way, email volunteers@romanceaustralia.com
