COCKTAIL PARTY~ DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND

sponsored by

Harlequin

It’s like wow, a 50s Hollywood Bash!

Ballroom Foyer

Friday, 17th August

7-9pm

Diamonds really are a girl’s best friend, so don’t be square, come along with your cool threads and have a blast, dig?

Be a star for a night.

Come as a Hollywood celebrity of the 1950s. Or as a character from the finest movies and TV from the 50s and beyond.

Will you be Lucy from I Love Lucy? Or Pinky Tuscadero (from Happy Days)? Or Lorelie Lee (Marilyn Monroe from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes) performing her opening number Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend? Or maybe even Zsa Zsa Gabor, draped in diamonds?

It’s going to be an outta sight night of Hollywood Glamour you won’t want to miss.

Costumes: Highly Recommended

Drinks and Nibbles provided (Note: this does not mean dinner).

For some idea suggestions, check out the blog post on the cocktail party.

Curious about what has been worn in the past? Check out this Youtube clip from last year's conference made by one of our members.

Entry is included in your Saturday/Sunday conference registration.

Tickets may be purchased seperately if not attending the Saturday/Sunday conference at $50 (including GST) each.

Don't know anyone at conference?
That's okay - we're organising tables for "First-timers" and also a "Surprise Me" option, a great way to meet new friends that share your passion for writing.

This year we'll be taking table seating preferences from June 1st to July 31st.

How to book:
Groups (any number up to a maximum of ten):

1. Contact your friends, decide your group and nominate one person as the contact for the group.
2. Nominated contact to email conference@romanceaustralia.com with the names that make up of the group, as they appear on their registration.

Non-delegate guests should have the name of the delegate in brackets next to their name (for matching against registrations).
